Myofascial therapy – IASTM Technique
√ It is an innovative therapeutic approach that combines static and dynamic manipulations of the body's soft tissues.
√ Special equipment is used.
√ The aim is to accelerate the recovery of pathological conditions.
√ Soft tissue techniques are applied to points of tissue shortening and fascial adhesions, immediately improving the functionality of the area in a few sessions.
Therapeutic effects
√ Increased stress produced in one or more joints.
√ Better nutrition through increased blood flow rates to the area.
√ Improvement of lymphatic circulation and venous return.
√ Increase in cellular activity (fibroblasts).
√ Reduction of pain and muscle spasm through neurophysiological adaptations.

Learning objectives: After this seminar therapists will be able to:
√ To accurately evaluate myofascial areas of intense sensitivity.
√ To restore the biomechanical function of the joints through the resolution of adhesions, the recovery of the normal rolling of the fascia and the reduction of muscle spasm and pain.
√ The therapeutic effect of the tools remains for several days and when combined with other therapeutic techniques (stretching and functional stabilization techniques) it becomes permanent.
